Sunday Apr 03, 2022
Sunday Apr 03, 2022
Why did Jesus die on the cross? To save us from our sins of course. But what about defeating death, tearing down the dividing wall of hostility, fulfilling prophecies, and so many other reasons. If we are going to be the people who take up our cross and follow Jesus we need a much fuller understanding of what the cross is really all about.

The Lord and His Prayer
Sunday Feb 13, 2022
Sunday Feb 13, 2022
When Jesus taught his disciples to pray during the Sermon on the Mount, he gave them a short little prayer that has world changing implications. Christ-like prayer should seek to honor God and not ourselves. It should recognize the wonder of being able to call the Creator our Father. It should invite us to begin shaping our lives around the Kingdom of God so the Kingdom might truly break into and transform the world we live in today.

Sunday Feb 06, 2022
Sunday Feb 06, 2022
The world we live in today is full of people who know what they think and believe and who won't change their minds. And yet Jesus demonstrates that even though he was the Son of God, he was willing to listen to other people, their needs, and their understanding of things. But what is really incredible is that Jesus would sometimes change his plans, ideas, and views to accommodate those to whom he listened. Are we willing to become good and humble listeners today?

Sunday Dec 26, 2021
Sunday Dec 26, 2021
So often when we read the Gospels we focus entirely on Jesus. But if we look at the reactions and conclusions of those witnessing what Jesus is doing, it can open entirely new understandings for us about who Jesus is. This sermon looks at the feeding of the 5,000, the calming of the storm, and the children approaching Jesus and challenges us to look at the way we react to Jesus and the conclusions we make today.

Something‘s Different....What Changed Pt 2
Sunday Dec 05, 2021
Sunday Dec 05, 2021
The Apostles and Paul made four dramatic transformations from the time they met Jesus and the end of the book of Acts. The last two of those transformations came when they were filled with the Holy Spirit and when they learned that God's Kingdom was open and inclusive of all people who chose to be in it. These, along with the transformations discussed last week, can only be explained by the life changing power and influence of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit in their lives. What's keeping you from letting it happen in your life?

Sunday Nov 28, 2021
This week is part of a two week sermon about how the Apostles and Paul went through four major transitions in their lives as a result of their interactions with and relationship with Jesus. When you look at how significant the changes were you have to ask, "What could have changed in their lives to cause such change?" And if we see how Jesus changed their life we will begin to expect him to show up and change our lives too.
